LONDON - To celebrate its 50th anniversary year, the McLaren supercar manufacturer plans to bring a special variant edition anniversary 12C and 12C Spider.
As reported by Carscoop, this variant will be limited only by 50 units each and every model variants will be directly produced by McLaren Special Operations (MSO), a special division that handles McLaren special project the British manufacturer.
Because of this special edition, this variant will undergo some changes, ranging from CFD front bumper, lower bumper incorporating carbon fiber, and the floor covered with carbon kevlar door.
The most interesting of this edition McLaren was half a century, black badges pinned on the hood that is inspired by McLaren F1 racing jet manufacturer is owned by Bruce McLaren.
McLaren also offers wheels with super light weight that must be reserved in advance, with a size 19 inch front and 20 inch rear. Varian 12C Spider will be available three colors, namely Carbon Black, Supernova Silver, and McLaren Orange.
Besides this variant will also be offered with a black lid and silver colored car, limited edition key, lock box and a special edition certificate signed directly by McLaren Automotive Design Director, Frank Stephenson.
McLaren special edition is priced at 196 thousand pounds, equivalent to Rp2, 8 billion for the 12C and 215 500 pounds or Rp3, 17 billion for the 12C Spider variant.
